Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to the MarketKitHub websites and their tools (together, the "Service"):

By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service is a set of free, browser-based tools: an overlay tester that draws approximate app interface overlays on images you provide, a character counter and formatter for text you provide, a compressor that reduces image and PDF files you provide to a maximum file size you choose, a transcript cleaner that tidies and summarises meeting transcripts you provide, a link cleaner that removes tracking parameters from web addresses you provide, and a PDF tool that flattens form fields or redraws pages as images in PDF files you provide. The Service is provided for convenience, informational and planning purposes only.

2. No affiliation

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Meta, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Amazon and eBay are trademarks of their respective owners. The Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by those companies. Overlay shapes are simplified representations, not official assets.

3. Accuracy and results

Platform interfaces, character limits and counting rules vary by device, app version, region, account type and placement, and change without notice. We make no guarantee that overlays, counts or limits shown match any platform at a given time, or that following them will lead to any particular reach, engagement, ranking or ad approval outcome. Always check final content in the platform's own app, composer or preview.

Compression reduces quality, and image-based PDF compression can remove selectable text, links and other interactive features. We make no guarantee that a compressed file will be accepted by any particular website, portal or organisation, or that it will meet requirements other than the maximum size you entered. Always review compressed files before submitting them, and keep your originals.

Transcript cleaning and summaries are automatic. They depend on the accuracy of the original transcript, can remove or keep words in ways you do not expect, and the summary selects sentences without understanding their full context. Always check cleaned transcripts and summaries before relying on or sharing them, and keep the original export as the record of the meeting.

Flattening draws form fields into the page as they are stored in the file, and a field that cannot be drawn may be missing from the result. Image-only output removes selectable text, links and other interactive features. A flattened or image-only file is not protected against editing, and we make no guarantee that it will be accepted by any particular website, portal or organisation. Always open the result and check it before submitting it, and keep your original.

The link cleaner removes parameters based on published and observed tracking conventions. Websites change how their links work, and a cleaned link may occasionally open a different page, lose a selected option or stop working. Check important links before relying on them. Removing an affiliate tag means the person who shared the link is not credited for a purchase.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the images, text and files you use with the Service. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive your content. You are responsible for the content you create, process and publish, and for making sure you have the right to use and modify it.

5. Open-source components

The File Compressor and PDF Flatten tool use pdf.js, licensed under the Apache License 2.0, and pdf-lib, licensed under the MIT License. Those components are provided by their authors under their own licence terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the Service, attempt to disrupt its hosting, scrape it in a way that degrades performance, or use it for any unlawful purpose, including altering documents to deceive others. In particular, do not present a scan-look copy made with the PDF Flatten tool as a genuinely scanned or hand-signed paper document where one is required.

7. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. How advertising cookies and consent work is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including a rejected or late submission.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
